Hi, my name is Theresa and I run The Tortoise Shell.
Over the years, I’ve been bestowed the honorary titles of ‘cat whisperer’ and ‘crazy cat lady’ by friends and family because I’m so passionate about the wellbeing and comfort of cats in my care. Along with my own nine cats, I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends’ cats while they’ve traveled. And in doing so, I’ve learnt a lot about integrating a visitor cat into an already cat-filled home, and how much time and patience this requires.
From this experience, and my love of hosting, The Tortoise Shell Cat Boutique Hotel was born. A one-of-a-kind, specialized cattery offering a private, comfortable space for every visitor cat, promising the same luxury I provide my resident cats. At The Tortoise Shell, we don’t compromise. Every room is an extension of our home, offering every guest a safe, stress-free and comfortable space.
To give you even more peace of mind, the entire hotel is run by me.
