There was some commotion in the yard today with some pipe fitting happening behind the cottage. Girls spent most of the day in the hiding spot.

My mom-in-law and auntie came to see the hotel, and they are as smitten with the two sisters as I am! Both have the most beautiful personalities. I see their appetites are up a bit – probably because it’s getting colder. Their bowls are empty when I serve breakfast and dinner.

We had a very eventful day in the cottage as the roof was washed. Thankfully, no noisy machines, just my garden guys on a ladder. The girls were under the bed during, but as soon as the coast was clear, came right out and went about their regular day. The evening was a bit chilly, so the heater was on for them in the night.
Litter boxes and appetites still 100% and cuteness-levels are sky high.

All is well – both happy and healthy. These two are pure joy to look after. Such lovely personalities.

My gardening service is coming to mow the lawn today. I will make sure the cottage door is closed for some sound dampening, and I will hang out with them during.

It was quite warm today and the girls were just lazing around. Nova likes to sleep in the cardboard house.

I played your voice note but unfortunately they were very distracted by birds and did not respond as I hoped. I’m going to try again in the morning.

I adjusted the angle of the top bunk and west catio cameras, we should have a better view of Nova’s favourite spots.

This evening a couple who are interested in their cat staying here had a look inside the cottage (we just stood by the door) and the girls were totally chill. They were the perfect models for the hotel 👌

I’m happy to report two happy and healthy girls. They have been eating well and pooping well too. I have the camping mattress in the cottage for myself and I have been enjoying hanging out with them, they are lovely company.

I am absolutely smitten with these two cuties. They are a little more playful every day. This morning, both of them gave me a warm hello. We’re going to assemble a play box a little later.

Litter box activity and appetites good. I left a couple of their chicken treats around the cottage for them to sniff out, and find on the window sills. Luna loves to hop in and out of the litter boxes for fun, scattering litter like a pro.

We’re testing out a wall panel heater in the cottage tonight, in addition to the electric blanket. Just to banish those early morning chills.

Appetites and litter box activities are normal. They are certainly feeling at home, and comfortable on the catio. They are loving all the birds.

Heating blanket has been switched on. Both girls have started exploring the catio. I put the tunnel toy inside, and it has already piqued their interest.

It’s a breezy but warm afternoon, the sliding door is open. Luna has ventured onto the catio and enjoyed some brushing.

Nova explored the vertical territory in the roof, chilled out in the sky bed for a while and got close enough to smell my hand.

A peaceful evening was had by both sisters. The music was playing softly during the night. Luna spent some time on the top bunk before returning to her sister in the hiding place. The top bunk has an electric blanket which we switch on when the night is cool. Nova had a walk around but preferred to sleep in the hiding place. Nova had a little nibble of food, Luna ate a little more than Nova.

Litter boxes
Great news! No shyness around the litter boxes and both sisters had a pee and a poop. Luna poked her head out of the hiding spot to watch me scoop their litter boxes.
